BOOKSTAIRCASE

CITYDESKSTUDIO has completed numerous custom furniture pieces, including custom book shelves that celebrate the book, private book collections, and their place in our daily lives. These projects are prime examples of our attention to detail, playfulness, and love of materials and material transitions - all as defining elements in an elegant final design solution. This bookshelf , built in the Great Northern Lofts in St Paul, MN, features a colorful, rolling, modular two piece library stair that offers a clever and resourceful solution to fulfill the need for gaining access to upper levels of the storage / display unit in this 14 foot tall loft space.
